What is cosmetic teeth brighening?
Cosmetic teeth brightening is a safe, non invasive treatment that helps to lift surface stains and brightens the natural enamal using a whitening gel and LED light technology.
How many shades whiter can my teeth get?
Most clients see a 4-10 shade improvement in one session. Results vary depending on natural enamel, lifestyle and staining.
Is cosmetic teeth brightening safe?
Yes, when performed correctly. The treatment works only on the outer enamel layer and does not damage your teeth. Here at You we use non hydrogen peroxide whitening gels.
Does it hurt?
Most clients feel no pain. Some may experience temporary sensitivity for 24-48 hour, which is normal.
How long will my appointment take?
For a full 60 minute session of whitening your appointment will be around 1 hour 20 minutes. This will include a full consultation, shade check and a discussion on aftercare advice.
What shouldi avoid after my appointment?
Aftercare is just as important as the treatment itself. For a strict 24-48 hours after your appointment you should:
- Avoid eating and drinking anything with colour
- We recommend using sensodyne tooth paste to brush your teeth incase of any tooth sensitivities.
- Do not apply any coloured lipgloss/ lipstick
